About The FDC
Mission Statement
The mission of the TCSG Faculty Development Center is to provide professional development for faculty in the technical colleges. The professional development training is statewide training and provides knowledge, skills, and support needed to provide positive impact to the complex process of teaching and learning so instructors will be effective. The training is open to full-time and part-time employees.

Registration
Use the “Registration form” link to gain access to the Faculty Development Institute TCSG Blackboard course, where you will complete the online modules for Phase I part 1 and Phase II part 1.
Once enrolled in the course if you need to gain access to the Phase I part 2 registration link you must complete the Phase I Part 1 modules located at tcsg.blackboard.com
- Go back to tcsg.blackboard.com and login
- Go to courses
- Go to Faculty development Institute
- Select Phase I Modules and you will see the Phase I part 2 Registration link.
To gain access to the Phase II part 2 registration link you must complete the Phase II Part 1 modules located at tcsg.blackboard.com
- Go back to tcsg.blackboard.com and login
- Go to courses
- Go to Faculty development Institute
- Select Phase II Modules and you will see the Phase II part 2 Registration link.

How to earn your badge
- To Receive the Phase I Badge Faculty must complete the following:
- Complete Phase I part 1 Online Modules via Blackboard
- Attend Phase I part 2 WebEx training
- To Receive the Phase II Badge Faculty must complete the following:
- Complete Phase II part 1 Online Modules via Blackboard
- Attend Phase II part 2
- Teach mini Lesson
