About The FDC

Mission Statement

The mission of the TCSG Faculty Development Center is to provide professional development for faculty in the technical colleges. The professional development training is statewide training and provides knowledge, skills, and support needed to provide positive impact to the complex process of teaching and learning so instructors will be effective. The training is open to full-time and part-time employees.

Use the following link to register for the Phase I or Phase II training. Once you register, you will receive instructions for enrolling into the Faculty Development Institute Blackboard course, where you will complete the online modules. If you have completed the Phase I training and received your badge of completion, please email ndames@tcsg.edu after enrolling in the Blackboard course to request access to Phase II of the training.

  • To Receive the Phase I Badge Faculty must complete the following:
    • Complete Phase I part 1 Online Modules via Blackboard
    • Attend Phase I part 2 WebEx training
  • To Receive the Phase II Badge Faculty must complete the following:
    • Complete Phase II part 1 Online Modules via Blackboard
    • Attend Phase II part 2
      • Teach mini Lesson

Please note that you will receive access to register for Phase I part 2 and Phase II Part 2 upon completion of the online modules within BlackBoard. You can view the schedule for Phase I Part 2 and Phase II Part 2 at the “training schedule” link below.
